Natural Lip Filler in London
Lip filler is one of the most popular aesthetic treatments for enhancing the shape, volume and definition of the lips. At M&K Aesthetics our philosophy is to create lips that look elegant, balanced and natural, enhancing your features rather than overpowering them.
Using premium hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, lip enhancement can restore lost volume, improve symmetry and define the lip contour while maintaining softness and natural movement.
Areas treated include:
• Upper and Lower Lips: To add volume, definition, and symmetry.
• Lip Borders: To create sharper, more defined lip contours.
• Perioral Lines: To smooth fine lines around the lips.

EXPERTISE
Expert Lip Techniques at M&K Aesthetics
At M&K Aesthetics, lip treatments follow advanced techniques developed and taught by our founder Marie Woolcott. The clinic specialises in natural-looking lip enhancement, focusing on elegant, balanced results that enhance the natural beauty of the face rather than creating an artificial or overfilled appearance.
Marie has specialised in lip enhancement for over five years and has trained with some of the most respected practitioners in the aesthetics industry, including Natalie Page Aesthetics, Loli Aesthetics, as well as leading aesthetic doctors on Harley Street in London.
Through years of experience and continued advanced training, Marie has developed her own signature approach known as the French Lips Technique.
The French Lips Technique focuses on creating soft, sophisticated lips that enhance the natural shape of the mouth while maintaining harmony with the rest of the face. Instead of simply adding volume, this technique prioritises structure, definition, and balance.
The technique typically focuses on:
- Enhancing the natural lip shape rather than overfilling
- Creating a defined yet soft cupid’s bow
- Maintaining a natural side profile
- Achieving balanced proportions between the upper and lower lip
- Preserving natural lip movement and expression
This approach allows lips to look refined, elegant, and naturally fuller, rather than artificially enlarged.
All practitioners at M&K Aesthetics are trained in Marie’s techniques and follow the same high standards to achieve natural, harmonious lip enhancement.
Because every patient’s anatomy is different, treatments are always personalised. Different advanced techniques may be combined to achieve the most beautiful and balanced result for each individual.
Who Is Lip Filler Suitable For?
Lip filler is suitable for many patients who would like to improve the appearance of their lips while maintaining natural and balanced results.
You may be a good candidate for lip filler if you:
- Naturally have thin lips and would like to create more volume
- Would like better definition of the lip borders
- Would like improved lip symmetry
- Have lost lip volume over time due to ageing
- Would like a subtle enhancement while maintaining a natural look
- Would like to restore hydration and softness to the lips
- Would like to smooth fine lines around the mouth
Lip Filler Aftercare
After treatment it is normal to experience mild swelling, tenderness or small areas of bruising around the lips. These effects are temporary and usually settle within a few days.
To ensure the best results and minimise swelling we recommend following a few simple aftercare guidelines.
For the first 24–48 hours please:
- Avoid alcohol
- Avoid strenuous exercise
- Avoid touching or massaging the lips unless advised
- Avoid excessive heat such as saunas, steam rooms or hot baths
- Avoid applying heavy pressure to the lips
Most patients return to normal activities immediately after treatment. The final result is usually visible once the swelling has fully settled, typically within 7 to 14 days.
Are Lip Fillers Safe?
The dermal fillers used at M&K Aesthetics are hyaluronic acid based fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally present in the body that helps maintain hydration and volume in the skin.
These fillers are widely used in aesthetic medicine and are considered safe when administered by trained practitioners.
Hyaluronic acid fillers are also temporary and biodegradable, meaning the product gradually breaks down naturally in the body over time.
In the unlikely event that adjustments are needed, hyaluronic acid fillers can also be safely dissolved using a medical enzyme.
Every treatment at M&K Aesthetics begins with a thorough consultation to assess your suitability for treatment and to discuss your desired results.
Our priority is always to provide treatments that are safe, balanced and tailored to your individual facial anatomy.

How Much Lip Filler Will I Need?
Most patients start with 0.7ml to 1ml during their first visit, particularly if they have never had lip filler before.
For maintenance treatments, smaller amounts such as 0.5ml are often sufficient to maintain volume and shape while keeping the lips looking natural and balanced.
During your consultation, our practitioner will assess your lip structure and recommend the most suitable amount to achieve a harmonious and natural-looking result.

FAQ
What are lip fillers?
Lip fillers are injectable treatments using hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers to add volume, shape, and hydration to the lips.
How long do lip fillers last?
Results typically last 6–12 months, depending on the product used (Juvederm, Stylage, Revolax), your metabolism, and lifestyle. Many clients book a top-up after 6–9 months to maintain results.
When will I see results?
Results are immediate, but swelling and minor bruising may occur. The final settled look is usually visible within 1–2 weeks.
Do lip fillers hurt?
Most clients describe the treatment as mildly uncomfortable rather than painful. We use a numbing cream and fillers with lidocaine to ensure comfort throughout the procedure.
Is there any downtime?
You can return to most daily activities right away. However, you may experience swelling, redness, or small bruises for a few days after treatment.
Are lip fillers safe?
Yes, when performed by a trained professional. At M&K Aesthetics, we only use premium brands (Juvederm, Stylage, Revolax) and follow strict medical protocols for your safety.
Can it look natural?
Absolutely. Our approach focuses on subtle, balanced enhancements that suit your face — whether you want a barely-there boost or a more defined shape.
What should I avoid after treatment?
For best results, avoid:
- Touching or massaging the lips unnecessarily
- Exercise, alcohol, and hot environments (saunas/steam rooms) for 24–48 hours
- Lipstick or makeup directly on the treated area for 12–24 hours
Who is not suitable for lip fillers?
Lip filler is not recommended if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have active infections, or certain medical conditions. We always carry out a full consultation before treatment.
