Lip enhancement

Add extra volume and definition

One of our most popular non-surgical treatments is lip enhancement with dermal fillers (hyaluronic acid). Lip fillers can help to enhance the lips, giving them a fuller, more defined lip shape.

Lip enhancement

Dermal filler is an injectable soft gel consisting of stabilized non-animal hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is a sugar naturally found in the skin and is responsible for holding water keeping the skin hydrated and plump.

As part of the natural ageing process, there is a loss of bone mass, muscle tone and thinning of the skin which can give the face a drooping appearance causing the forehead, nose and mouth to appear more pronounced.

LIP FILLER

Lip augmentation involves injecting a hyaluronic acid based filler into specific structures of the lips to give fuller, plumper lips. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body which when injected into the lips, attracts water improving the shape, structure and volume of the lips. If you feel conscious of the size of your lips or would like more volume, lip filler can provide spectacular results.

RUSSIAN LIP TECHNIQUE

The Russian lip technique is an increasingly popular technique used to fill the lips. This technique involves the use of tenting to accentuate the cupids bow to resemble a subtle heart shape by focusing on injecting volume mostly into the centre of the lips while the sides remain relatively in line with the face. The result is doll-like while still appearing naturally full and plump. Height is the primary goal with the Russian technique although plumpness can also be achieved. When you come for your consultation, your aesthetic injector will discuss the look you want to achieve adapting the technique to achieve the desired results..
