Clinic Terms & Booking Policy
At M&K Aesthetics, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care, ethical practice, and outstanding treatment experiences. To ensure fairness, transparency, and efficient scheduling for all clients, we kindly ask that you familiarise yourself with our clinic policies before booking. These policies are designed to protect both our clients and our practitioners while ensuring that appointment times, treatment plans, and clinic resources are managed effectively. By booking an appointment, paying a booking fee, purchasing a treatment or package, or attending the clinic, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
Booking Fees
To secure your appointment, a booking fee is required for every booking made with M&K Aesthetics.
Booking fees are as follows:
- £50 for appointments with a treatment value of up to £350
- £100 for appointments with a treatment value exceeding £350
Appointments are not confirmed until the booking fee has been received.
Your booking fee will be deducted from the cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.
Booking fees are non-refundable.
No-Show Policy
Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice is considered a no-show.
As appointment times are reserved exclusively for you, a missed appointment results in lost clinic time that is often impossible to fill at short notice.
In the event of a no-show:
- The full treatment amount will be charged or retained.
- Any booking fee paid will be forfeited.
- Future appointments may require payment in full at the time of booking.
Rescheduling Appointments
We understand that plans can change and will do our best to accommodate appointment changes where possible.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required should you wish to reschedule your appointment.
Appointments rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice may transfer their booking fee to a new appointment date.
Appointments rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of the booking fee and a new booking fee will be required to secure another appointment.
Refund Policy
All treatments, treatment packages, courses, memberships, gift vouchers, products and prepaid services are strictly non-refundable once purchased.
All sales are final.
Refunds will not be provided for:
- Change of mind
- Unused treatments
- Partially used treatment packages
- Failure to attend appointments
- Personal circumstances
- Relocation
- Failure to follow aftercare advice
- Dissatisfaction where treatment has been performed appropriately and according to professional standards
Results vary from person to person and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Treatment Packages & Courses
Treatment packages and prepaid courses are offered at preferential rates and are therefore non-refundable.
- Are non-transferable
- May only be used by the original purchaser
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Must be used within their validity period
Expired treatments cannot be redeemed, extended, transferred or refunded.
Consultations & Treatment Suitability
All treatments are subject to consultation and clinical assessment.
M&K Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse or postpone treatment where it is considered unsafe, inappropriate or not in the client’s best interests.
Treatment may be declined due to:
- Medical contraindications
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding where applicable
- Intoxication or drug use
- Unrealistic expectations
- Failure to disclose relevant medical information
Our practitioners will always provide honest, ethical and professional advice based on clinical judgement.
Results Disclaimer
Aesthetic treatments are medical procedures and individual results will vary.
Factors including age, anatomy, lifestyle, metabolism, medical history, skin quality and adherence to aftercare instructions can all influence treatment outcomes and longevity.
Whilst every effort is made to achieve optimal results, no specific outcome or result can be guaranteed.
Additional treatments or maintenance sessions may be required to achieve or maintain desired results.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their treatment time reduced or may need to be rescheduled.
Where an appointment cannot proceed due to lateness, it may be treated as a late cancellation. In such cases, any booking fee paid will be forfeited and a new booking fee will be required to secure a future appointment.
Repeated late arrivals may result in full payment being required at the time of booking future appointments.
Children & Guests
To ensure a safe and professional environment for all clients:
- Children should not attend appointments unless previously agreed with the clinic.
- Children must not be left unattended at any time.
- Guests may only accompany clients with prior approval from the clinic.
We appreciate your understanding as many treatments involve medical procedures requiring a calm and sterile environment.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers:
- Are non-refundable
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Must be redeemed before their expiry date
- Cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, damaged or expired
Photography, Video Recording & Social Media
To protect the privacy, safety, and comfort of our clients and practitioners, photography and video recording are not permitted within the clinic without prior consent.
Clients are not permitted to photograph, film, or record consultations, treatments, practitioners, or other clients unless explicit permission has been granted by M&K Aesthetics.
Any photography or video recording undertaken without consent may result in the treatment being stopped and the appointment being terminated.
We kindly ask all clients to respect the privacy of our team and fellow clients at all times.
Clinical photographs may be taken before and after treatment for assessment, treatment planning and medical record keeping.
All photographs and personal information are stored securely and handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
Respectful Behaviour Policy
M&K Aesthetics operates a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening, discriminatory, intimidating, or inappropriate behaviour.
We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both our clients and team members.
The following behaviour will not be tolerated:
- Bullying, harassment, or intimidation of staff or other clients
- Aggressive, threatening, or abusive behaviour
- Offensive, discriminatory, or derogatory language
- Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise discriminatory comments
- Swearing directed towards staff members
- Online harassment, defamatory reviews, or abusive communication via phone, email, text message, or social media
- Recording or photographing staff without consent
- Behaviour that causes distress, discomfort, or concern to members of the team
M&K Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse treatment, terminate appointments immediately, cancel future bookings, and discharge clients from the clinic where such behaviour occurs.
No refunds will be provided where treatment is refused or discontinued due to abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct.
We believe that our team has the right to work in an environment that is safe, respectful, and free from harassment.
