What is PRP?

PRP ? WHAT IS IT

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy involves injection of the patient’s own platelets and fibrin for the cosmetic treatment of wrinkles or scars in the face, hands, and neck. Known to some as the “vampire facelift”. It takes about 20 minutes for each treatment and offers improvements for up to 18 months.

In M&K we offer PRP for hair loss, full face (vampire facial) and eyes drawing the clients own blood and spinning to turn into plasma with our high quality machine and equipment giving you the best results.

PRP for hair loss

PRP therapy is a reliable hair loss treatment that can rejuvenate thinning hair for both men and women. This is because PRP contains proteins that help your blood clot and encourage cell growth, both of which are essential functions in hair regrowth. PRP is also considered a safe, effective, steroid sparing, and alternative treatment for alopecia areata.

PRP for eyes

Injections of platelet rich plasma can go a long way in repairing the skin around the eyes. Not only do they speed up blood vessel growth, but they also strengthen collagen and skin to give the skin a more full and youthful appearance.

PRP for full face (vampire facial)

PRP helps in tightening and thickening the skin to smoothen the fine lines and wrinkles. Since this treatment focuses on promoting collagen, it is an effective treatment for enhancing the overall tone and texture of the skin. It is particularly good for individuals suffering from acne or rosacea or any skin imperfections in general.

We are confident that our PRP services can help our clients improve their appearance and self-confidence. If you are interested in our services, do not hesitate to contact us to schedule a consultation and find out more about what we can offer you.
