Every set is fully customised based on your eye shape, natural lashes, and desired look.

Classic Lashes (Mascara Effect)

Classic lashes involve applying one extension to one natural lash, creating a soft and natural enhancement.

This style is perfect if you:

Have a good amount of natural lashes

Russian Volume (3D–4D)

Russian volume uses multiple ultra-light lashes per natural lash to create soft volume.

Kim K Lashes (Wispy Effect)

Liner Effect Lashes

The overall shape follows a cat-eye style, lifting and elongating the eye while maintaining softness.

Angel Lashes (Wet Look)

Angel lashes, also known as the wet look, create a soft, glossy, and slightly spiked effect — similar to the appearance of lashes when they are freshly wet.

This style is achieved using narrow, closed volume fans, which gives definition without adding heavy volume.

Perfect for:

Clients who want a natural but enhanced look
A soft, clean and glossy finish
Those who don’t want full volume or dramatic lashes

Result: Light, defined lashes with a subtle “wet” effect and delicate spikes.

Infills & Maintenance

To maintain a full, fresh look, we recommend booking infills every 2–3 weeks.

After 3 weeks, most extensions will have grown out or shed, and an infill may no longer be suitable.

When to Book an Infill

Infills are suitable when:

You have good lash retention
At least 40–50% of your extensions remain
Your previous set is no older than 3 weeks

When a Removal & New Set Is Required

If fewer than 5 extensions per eye remain, this is no longer considered an infill.

In this case:

A removal and full set will be required
Or a removal fee may be added before a new set

This ensures the final result remains clean, even, and high quality.

Important Information

Infills are only performed on lashes originally done at M&K Aesthetics, or of equivalent quality
Please arrive with clean lashes, free of makeup and oils
Late infills may be rebooked as a full set if the previous criteria aren’t respected

Half Set

Half Set Lash Extensions

A half set consists of applying approximately 50% of the lashes used in a full set, creating a softer and more natural result.

This option is ideal for clients who:

Want a very subtle, natural enhancement
Prefer a lighter, less dense look
Would like to enhance specific areas, such as creating a soft liner effect on the outer lash line

Half sets can also be a great introduction to lash extensions for first-time clients.

Result: Light definition with a natural finish.

For a fuller, more noticeable result, a full set is recommended.

How should I care for my lashes?

To maintain your lashes:

Clean lashes regularly
Brush them gently

Can I get eyelash extensions if I have sensitive eyes?

What is the difference between a full set and a half set?

Can I switch styles at my infill appointment?

Yes, adjustments can be made depending on your current lashes and desired result.

A patch test is not required for eyelash extensions. Traditional patch testing (applying a few lashes) is not considered reliable for this treatment, as it does not accurately replicate a full application and is unlikely to trigger a reaction. At M&K Aesthetics, we prioritise safety by using high-quality products and precise techniques. If you have a history of sensitive eyes or allergies, please inform us during your consultation so we can take the appropriate precautions.

How often should I book an infill?

We recommend booking your infill every 2–3 weeks to maintain a full and even look.

Can I book an infill after 3 weeks?

After 3 weeks, most sets will require more work and may need to be booked as a full set instead of an infill.

What happens if I have very few lashes left?

If fewer than 5 extensions per eye remain, a removal and new full set will be required to ensure a clean and even result.

Can I get an infill if my lashes were done elsewhere?

For quality and consistency, we typically recommend a removal and full set when lashes have been applied by another salon.

Do I need to come with clean lashes?

Will I be charged extra if I book the wrong service?

If your lashes are not suitable for an infill, your appointment may be adjusted to a removal and full set, and pricing will reflect this.

Can I pre-book my infills?
