What to expect from the treatment

suitability and discuss the benefits of treatments as well as inform you of any risks involved to ensure fully informed consent.
Should you be suitable for treatment and wishing to proceed, your practitioner will mark the areas for injection depending on your desired outcome and inject very small amounts of Botox at each site with a very small needle which should be relatively painless. No recovery period is required and after care information will be provided.
You may notice some redness, swelling or small bumps following treatment of certain areas however these will subside over the next few hours. Results begin to show after a few days and the full effect is evident by 2 weeks. The duration for which the effects of Botox last varies from individual to individual but usually you can expect Botox to last between 3 and 4 months.
One of the most common uses of Botox is to treat wrinkles on the forehead and eyebrow frown lines which form over time as a result of the natural ageing process.
