What are M&K Aesthetic’s eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are cosmetic applications that enhance the length, curl, fullness, and thickness of natural eyelashes. The extensions are made from PBT fiber. The main method of applying the extensions is by using a cyanoacrylate adhesive to apply the extension(s) to the natural lash 1–2 mm from the base of the natural eyelash, never making contact with the eyelid.
What happens during the procedure?
Each eyelash is isolated one by one with the special tweezers and synthetic lash gently applied on top, using a medical-grade adhesive. The extension is applied directly onto the existing lash, away from the skin of the eyelid so as to allow the natural growth of your own lashes.
What do I need to do before the procedure?
Don’t wear any mascara or eye makeup. Use an oil-free remover. You have to come with clean lashes and face without any make-up.
Go to the toilet prior to your appointment as you will be laying down for long periods of time. Be careful with your moisturizer, keep it away from your eye area.
Remove your contact lenses prior to the appointment.
No coffee prior to your appointment
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Set aside at least 2 – 2,5 hours out of your day for your appointment. It is really important that you are relaxed and you don’t rush your lash technician. The procedure is delicate and if you are relaxed your lash technician will do his job the best. After compleating your appointment your lashes will last you up to 3 weeks before you need to book your next appointment
What to do after the procedure?
After the procedure, you will be given instructions by your technician on how to maintain your lashes in writing. Please follow instructions corectly.
Can I wear makeup with my lashes?
Yes, eyeshadow that is easy to remove with lash shampoo. Avoid eyeliners, mascara and any make-up that is hard to remove because rubbing your eyes can cause damage to extensions and natural lashes.
Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?
No, if you do them with professionals who are trained to do them properly and they have knowledge of how to put eyelash extensions safely.
What is cosmetic PRP?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a revolutionary therapeutic approach in regenerative medicine that has recently gained increased steam in the cosmetic and plastic surgery.
PRP is 3-step procedure that involves having your blood:
- Drawn from your arm
- Placed into a machine that separates the platelets from the rest of your blood
- Re-injected into you (only the part of your blood that contains a high concentration of platelets).
Orthopedic surgeons use PRP to help athletes recover more quickly after an injury. In dermatology, PRP is being tested as a possible treatment for hair loss. PRP may also speed up wound healing. A few dermatologists are using PRP to give patients younger-looking skin.
What does PRP (Vampire facelift) help with?
- Reduce wrinkles
- Plump up sagging skin
- Get rid of deep creases
- Improve one’s complexion
- Diminish acne scars
Is PRP better than Botox?
Botox works to relax the facial muscles so that you can be left with smoother skin without wrinkles and fine lines. PRP, on the other hand, uses your own blood to stimulate the skin on your face so that new, healthier skin cells can grow
Is PRP good for wrinkles?
Injected just below the surface of the skin, PRP Injections can help reverse the signs of aging in the skin, including eliminating or improving the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin.
How long does PRP for face last?
PRP is a facial rejuvenation treatment that uses your own plasma to stimulate collagen production and cell migration, allowing for the elimination of lines, folds, and wrinkles. Results from PRP therapy are natural looking and subtle, and they can last for as long as two years, if the patient has followed the 4 courses after his practitioner’s advice.
Can I wear makeup after PRP facial?
